Exploring narratives that connect the seen the sensed and the dreamed is central to R&F Mo’s works focusing on ambiguity and places where relations between human and creature kind are performed. Mo works with processes of drawing and painting to conjure a scene resonating myth, folklore and fairy-tale. Rather than holding to a fixed preconceived concept Mo follows the shapes suggested by materials on the surface, finding the way in the moment of making. This pareidolia archaeology keeps the process alive, while also allowing the unconscious, memory, and imagination to come into play.
